I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with over 26 years of experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan. My career has taken me through a wide range of settings—from county and state agencies to nonprofits, the foster care system, partial hospitalization programs, and for the past 18 years, my own private practice. These experiences have shaped a deep, practical understanding of mental health and human development across diverse backgrounds and life circumstances.
I use an integrative approach that draws from developmental psychology, psychodynamic theory, trauma-informed care, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. Whether I’m conducting psychological assessments or providing ongoing therapy, I tailor my work to each client’s unique developmental stage, cultural background, and emotional needs.
In my practice, I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I’m particularly passionate about supporting adults through life transitions, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma recovery, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and personal growth. My approach blends insight-oriented therapy with practical tools to help clients not only understand their patterns, but also make meaningful changes.
My work with children and adolescents is rooted in a strong foundation in early childhood development—I began my career as a preschool teacher and have received extensive training in developmental psychology. I collaborate closely with families, teachers, and pediatricians to create supportive, age-appropriate treatment plans that foster emotional resilience and well-being.
I believe that every person has an innate capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. Whether I’m helping a child feel safe and understood or guiding an adult through a period of transition, my goal is always to create a trusting space where real change can happen.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I see my role as walking alongside my clients as they navigate challenges, build insight, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
